John entered eternal life on Saturday, July 9th at his home in New York City. John is survived by his three nieces , Mary Moore, Peggy Gates and Cathy Arnes and one nephew, Tom Reilly. He is also survived by 12 great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew and a host of cousins. He is predeceased by his brother Bob.
Jack was the Dean of Arts and Humanities at Queens College in New York, was a published author and was fluent in French. He loved the theater and thoroughly enjoyed playing bridge. His summers were spent in the Finger Lakes .
