The company he founded BENEFITS DO MATTER pioneered LONG TERM CARE insurance which was a recognized authority, spokesman, and a visiting professor at universities.
Sam received his education at Wharton School, The University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, with a B.B.A. from The University of Mississippi.
Sam is survived by his loving and devoted wife June Colbert. He is also survived by his son Bruce of Texas, his daughter Leslie Spencer (Robert) of New Hampshire and seven grandchildren.
