Condolences

Condolence From: Betty Beadle
Condolence: Edythe and I met as freshman in high school over 70 years ago, and have been best friends ever since. I wrote a story for English class about a girl named Edith who changed the spelling of her name to Edythe (at Edith's suggestion.) Of course, the girl led a more interesting and fanciful life after she changed the spelling of her name and Edith was forever after known to us as Edythe. Edythe and I discussed philosophy, politics, music, food, and a dozen other subjects and we understood each other completely. We were inseparable friends, separated only by her death. I shall miss her!

Condolence: Aunt Edythe was always there for our special events. She liked to play games with us, puzzles, we always celebrated finding that last piece. Betty and Edythe were true friends who understood each other and found peace in discussing current events, philosophy and life in general. She worried about a small boy getting too close to the balcony, she enjoyed raspberry candies and being happy and having fun. There was never a more generous or more gracious person. She can never be replaced, we will never be the same without her

Condolence: Aunt Edythe, You mean everything to us! Love and generosity, brightly colored balloons, happiness, sunshine, lime green Disneyworld t- shirts, one of a kind birthday cakes, beautiful flowers, swimming pools, beaches, summer and happiness, birds and butterflies, suntans and raspberries, and puzzles and beanie babies,ChocoVine wine and Happy New Year, birthdays and half birthdays and conversations. You are such a gracious lady who brought us such joy and fun and all the best stories. You were one of a kind, we are devastated with the thought of being without you. Nothing will ever be the same without you. We love you and won't ever forget you. You mean everything to us! We love you forever!

Condolence From: Richard and Tammy Beadle
Condolence: Edith Reed was "Aunt Edythe" to my Sister, my Brother and myself since birth; and she became "Aunt Edythe" to our spouses and children as well. She was our Mother's best friend since High School, and my Sister's Godmother (I always wished she was mine too!); but most importantly, she was an integral and cherished part of our family. She was always there (and a very big part of) every graduation, wedding, anniversary, baby shower, retirement, etc.; and they wouldn't have seemed complete without her. I can always remember being excited when she was coming, and sad to see her leave. She was a loving, generous and beautiful person, and we were blessed to have her in our lives. She was our "Aunt Edythe", and we will cherish the memories we have of her, and miss her, for the rest of our lives. Richard, Tammy, Richard II and Brittany Beadle
