Born in Newark, New Jersey, Mary Ellen was the oldest of the Kelly children, she is pre-deceased by her parents, William and Mary (nee Matthews). Mary Ellen will be sorely missed by her brother, William P. and his wife Priscilla, and her devoted sister, Deborah Ann Kelly. She was a proud Aunt to one niece and one nephew.
