Suddenly, on May 13, 2012 at her residence in New York City, Edith entered into eternal life. Edith is predeceased by her parents John James and Caroline (nee Siebert) and is survived by Survived by Lucille Ferraro, Lorraine Petrigliano, Virginia Collins, Marge Cunningham, Marcie Petersen, Robert Reed Jr., and Carol Shelley, Richard Beadle, and Robert Beadle and so many others who were her true family, regardless of technical blood ties.

She opened doors for so many women to be accepted in a previously "men only" profession of consulting actuaries and conquered these barriers by being a gracious lady, a kind and intelligent adviser, and a fun loving, never quite grown up child. She loved God, she loved her friends and family, and she loved life.


Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 O’Clock on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at St. Agnes Church, 143 East 43rd Street, NYC. Interment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY.
